boggs and nearly stalls

well with the car on the road, i like to give it a push every now and then from light to light, the problem is, when i do so, the car boggs bad or nearly stalls then takes forever to accellerate(sp?) the check engine light doesnt come on, the fuel pressure is good (30-40lbs) and the temps stay at 220ish all day.

the funny thing is, it only runs sluggish like how i described after it warms up, for the first 5 minutes or so of driving it i have tire spinning power, once it warms up, i cant even spin the tires flooring it on a turn. any idea what could be the problem? the car has a fresh tune up, fluids good, all spark plug wires and cap are secure. oh yea, details about the car are nice lol

My car:
1989 Pontiac Firebird Formula
305 TPI, 700r4, 61k miles. thanks for the help guys!
