Would like to here anything about them, good and bad.,
Ilove the looks of them, for my 88. but do they shift well manually, will they take a beetin?
Is there any better quality ones i should be looking at,?
Im willing to spend, what it takes, for a good quality setup.

I've had one in my '57 since 2002. It's been through a lot, still works like did when I put it in.
I just put a used one in the Camaro. If I had it to do over again, I'd just go buy a new one. Too many parts missing, no instructions, still haven't gotten it completely done.
But, you're not going to make that mistake.
The Hammer shifter is a step up from the Megashifter, but isn't offered in a console model anymore.
Go with the Megashifter. You won't be disappointed.

I put one in my camaro a few years ago. Seems to be a good shifter.
You do have to read the instructions a few times to make sure things are setup right. Not too bad of a install. A few people on here just used the stock shifting cable. They didnt have to get under the car.
I am swapping from the 700r4 to a th350. It can still be used. I just wished I would have kept the TH350 gear selector window. Anyone got one laying around they dont need?

Another thumbs up!Love mine,it's been in the car since 98,and has taken' a whoopin and still works like it did when it was new!
I LOVE MINE !!!!!!!!!!! I have one in my 84 Trans Am and have had it in since 2002 and it has work perfectly all the time. shifting is very safe, no way you could accidentally shift in the wrong gear by skipping another gear.no way to even accidentally shift into reverse either. if I had a bone stock 3rd gen and was only allowed to do one mode ever, that would be it. def thumbs way up.
