Is the tube on the timing tab 0 degrees and each notch in the tab 5 degrees or is it something differant? I can't see the tab to tell.

Car: Yes
Engine: Usually
Transmission: Sometimes
Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere
The real deep notch is 0°; then each smaller notch is 4° from there.

I see a wider notch next to the tube that's 0 degrees right?

Ok another question, If I use my timing light while someone is cranking the engine over and I set the distributor to 0 degrees is this right? Or should i set it to like 5 degres before or something to get it started?

I've found out my carb is leaking that's why it won't start but I want to get the timing just right so I can be done with that or at least be close so when I fix the carb it will start right up.
