fuel smell

I switched out from a tbi to a carb. when I did I just did not hook up the charcoal canaster. I see that there is a small vacuum port and a big one. now does both of them hook up to the carb or am I missing something.

btw I don't have a smog pump or air system at all. all I have is my cat. thanks for any help.

I hope the arrows show up the yellow one is the small and the white is the big. the yellow is on the left and the white is on the right

Keep the skinny line(tank) the one that is hooked up to the fuel line hooked up and vent the larger line(carb) into your fender well, that's what I did.

so hook up the small vaccum line to the carb and just stick the larger line out into the fender? don't you still get a gas smell?

No, the smaller line gets hooked up to the fuel line, the larger line that is supposed to get hooked up to the carb just stick it in the fender well. Here is a pic of mine. If you look at the picture, may be different than your set up, there are two lines. The one on top connects to the fuel line and I have the other tucked away in the fender well.

on mine. the fuel line is hooked up. it is under the vaccum line that is under the yellow arrow. I just don't know why there is a small vaccum and a bigger vaccum
