Anyone put truck heads on their 350?
I've got a 350 TPI engine I pulled from my Formula that I am going to rebuild.
First off, I'm probably going to sell the TPI setup, and switch to a carb.
Secondly, I have a set of Vortech heads off my 97 Silverado 305 engine that died last year.
Anyone ever tried putting 305 truck Vortechs on an L98 engine?
I'm assuming the compression will probably go up, but will they flow enough for a 350? (Especially if I go carb?)
Anyone who has any insight, please share.

From what I hear, truck heads are good for bottom end torque. But that's about it. And they'll probably do more harm than good on a 350.
