EGR on a Vortec Intake

Hey everyone,

I'm looking for a Vortec style intake that has the EGR provision on it (Functional!). WHere I am at, they don't care so much what motor you are running, so long as everything is hooked up for their visual. Does anyone know where I can pick one up? I'm sitting on a '96 350 with Vortec Heads that I want to do something with but can't unless I can find an intake to go with the heads. Otherwise, I'll end up selling the heads for some normal ones...which I'd rather not do since I've already got them! lol Thanks in advance for any help!

Carb? TPI? TBI?

Carb, I think you're out of luck. Not sure if anyone makes an EGR-equipped Vortec carb intake. I know the usual companies (Edlebrock, Holley) do not.

TPI you can use the Scoggin Dickey TPI Vortec baseplate

TBI..... not sure about aftermarket but I beleive there were TBI Vortec motors from the factory in some applications.

Sorry, It's a 305 H.O. from 1984...the year the apparently didn't like TPI for some reason...i've got a Q-Jet on it, 750 CFM to be exact. So that's what the new motor will have on it. I don't have the additional $1000-$3000 for a TPI set up...yet.
