So I hear a lot about AC deletes and the more I learn, do you only need the pulley if you are using serpentine belts? My car is using the V-Belts system (seperate belts for everything :P)...wouldn't it make sense to just remove the whole AC completely, leaving not even a pulley behind since it's on a seperate belt and shouldn't (technically) affect other things?

I've not found any answers in the search for this topic. Thoughts?
