moving the fuel regulator to the back?

I had a cracked fitting on my fuel lines and was spraying fuel everywhere on my way to the exhaust shop. I got it fixed, but need to redo my setup. I was thinking of moving the regulator to the back, and only running 1 line to the front to feed the carb. My question is, if I do that, will the added distance from the regulator to the carb cause a drop in psi? I'm assuming it wouldnt, but just want to be sure.

I'm running a 190lph electric pump that goes to my regulator that feeds my carb. I just want to mount the regulator in the back by the tank.

There'll be a drop, but as long as you set it measuring the pressure at the carb it should be fine.

that is what I planned to do, put my pressure gauge at the end of the hose that will go to the carb and make sure it gets what it needs. Thanks.
