Anyone here read the article with Joe Shermans pump gas 383 with ported RHS 1.94 1.5 vortec replacement heads from July 2005 Chevy Rumble. It would be cool if someone scanned and posted the article. I would like to try and get a back issue and post it here.

Interesting article. I noticed that an XFI cam along with the beehive valve springs were used.

there is more to Joe Shermans builds than meets the eye.
Lot of specific bottom end and valve job tricks he's developed over the years. But if you want to try to duplicate it you probabily can get with in 10-12% of his power.
