88 s-belt system on a 85 v-belt motor?

srry if this is posted somewhere else but my comp took a dump, so i am posting from my pocket pc... Is it posible to run the s-belt system from an 88 camaro 305 tbi on a 85 camaro 305 carb? the 85 has a v-belt system that i wanna get away from... can i just switch the brackets and acceseries over or not? please help... if this is posted elsewhere would smeone please post a direct link... thanks

Engine: semi-stock L69
Transmission: T-5 non W/C
Axle/Gears: 3.73 open
I believe(not 100% positive) the brackets switch over plus pulleys and belt and I think that is it.

Yes, this has been covered heavily before. A search would turn up answers, or there is a tech article about re-routing the serp system which may answer some of your questions.

If I'm not mistaken you have to use a reverse rotation water pump
