Fuel
Hey guys, got a problem and this seemed like the best place for it. Where the fuel cap screws on, it isnt perfectly round or the lip where it seals on isnt in good shape. The cap wants to cross thread and when I do get it on right, it leaks terrible when turning or whatever. It dumps gas all over the side of my car and smells terrible and looks even worse on a white car. I have tried several different new caps and even new o-rings on the caps and it helped none. I dont want to swap fuel tanks, so what are my options? I think my mileage would go up significantly if I didnt dump half of it out on my paint.

I agree with Five7kid, I think a new fuel tank is in order. If you want, while you are in there, you can swap in a 4th gen tank with little mods, and that might be a good idear.
