RHS Vortec Heads and Standard Intake
Wasn't really sure where I should post this, but I have a question for anyone who is familiar with RHS Vortec Heads. I did a search here at TGO, but couldn't come up with much. On the RHS website it says that their vortec heads feature:
"dual pattern (four & six bolt) intake compatibility, these heads work with virtually any intake manifold (including early style) rather than being restricted to Vortec-style components, which has been a limiting factor in the past."
Has anyone used, or heard of someone using a "traditional-style" manifold with these heads?
BTW, here is the link to the RHS site:

Yes I know of a person now running those heads with a dominator manifold but alas you know the ports wont line up very well. Best thing is get the vortec manifold as the port angle will line up correctly. Hes trapping at 106 with the mismatch intake but hes having trouble now getting the car to hook because of the added hp from the new heads since he just swapped them recently. Its a 357 with 3.73 gears.

It's disappointing to see RHS, trying to get on their feet again, offering and saying things like that.
Get a Vortec intake.
Get a Vortec intake.
