Fuel Gauge bouncing around

My fuel gauge needle bounces around depending on what angle I'm on, if I go into a turn or go uphill. I know what causes this but would getting a new gas tank with one of those baffles help with fuel moving around everywhere? Is there somethign in the tank that can be replaced to help?

welcome to the wonderful world of GM. What might actually be your problem(most surel) is one or more of your baffles in your gas tank have come loose.
