Exhaust Leak???
since i bought my car four months ago, i have been having to clean the windshield every three days or so because what appears to be a thin film of oil gets all over my windows. when i try to clean it, with, like a paper towel, i can see streaks, windex won't help, i have to use degreaser, but then a couple of days later, it's back. I know for sure the vacuum line that goes from inside the dashboard to the heater control valve is broken, could a vacuum leak from a line that small, cause all my exhaust to leak into the inside of the car? where else could exhaust be leaking into the inside of my car, actually, sometimes it does smell like gasoline inside, but not enough to leave a window film behind...at least i don't think so.
Any ideas? thanks

Hopefully it isn't an exhaust leak, since there shouldn't be much oil in your exhaust and if there is you have a whole other problem to attend to.
To get that oil onto your windshield it has to come up through the rear of your hood I guess as a gas, but that's only going to happen if your valve covers or pcv line are leaking. I'd imagine your hoods underside would be totally covered in oil, as would your engine, distributor, etc.
You really need to look for the source of oil. It doesn't just get on your windshield without going through something, so its path will be oily and tell you where it is coming from... make sure to check your oil level and top it off if it's too low.
