the 350 is an 88 or 89

why on earth would you ever consider using a cam from a stock 305?

the answer is yes and no. with your method, no. using retrofit lifters, yes.

stick 305 and 350 had same cam prior 87-89,

I've been told the blocks are identical in late model 1 peice rear main engines
that they just got flat tappet cams in trucks and the roller cams and lifters fit and they have the valley for the lifter spider,

Yes, you can transplant the factory roller setup to it, much cheaper than going with the "retrofit" roller setup, but don't waste time instaling a stock factory 3rdgen cam, you regret it later for all the work involved.

thanks thats what I wanted to know,
I'm up in the air right now about what I'm going to do,
my motor in my car is losing oil pressure fast is gone from like 50 psi to 15 psi over a couple of days, but has seemed to level off,

I got a low mile 305 I was going to rebuild the heads, re-ring it, throw some bearings in it and go,
then I came across a non roller tbi 350 and I got used cam, rollers etc. from another L98 I just put a cam and stuff in,

just need something to tie me over until my real motor is done,
funny how other peoples stuff always gets put infront of mine

I see you're point, might want to scan the classified here, or Ebay for a decent cam. Shame to go to all that trouble, have the whole sha-bang in your lap, then wish you had spent 50-100 bucks more to be in a good mood.
