any body try the above cam from summit. cam and lifters and springs and retainers. lift,420/442,duratiion 268/278. doesnt look like a bad kit for 135.00. was thinking of trying it since my 86 ta is a hydraulic flat tappet style.

I have one in mine but I havent finished it yet. Make sure the springs and retainers are correct. Mine werent. Do a search for the summit TPI cam and you will find more info.

Stock heads. Alot of guys are happy with this cam compared to their stock peanut cam. Hope to get finished up next weekend.

Yeah I have 3 cars. but the TPi has stock heads. ITs just me and another guy at our dealership, small town. We got to do everything... Nice meeting ya!!

Im using this cam and im very pleased , i rebuilt a 305 tpi engine and man what a difference it made compared to the stock cam.
