Will these heads work?
Ive got a 305 TBI. Im getting a LT4 cam for it. I have a set of 64cc heads sittin in the garage, and im trying to find out if i can use them. Will the compression raito be too high, and will my stock TBI and fuel pump be able to support it?

Actually you will lower your compression ratio.
Stock config, would have your 305 with 58cc heads, going to 64cc heads will lose you somee power, but depending on which heads, may gain you flow...my guess though is your dealing with stock 64cc heads, and you'll come out on the short side.
Fuel pump and TBI will be fine in either case.
BTW, welcome to thirdgen.org!!

your right about the compression raito, i dont know what i was thinking. The heads came off a 350 pushing 475 hp, there ported and polished. the only reason they came off the engine was bc my dad went with aluminum AFR's. do you think i would gain some compression on them if i had them milled down?

Yes, but a few factors come into play.
The more you mill, the greater the chance in intake mis-alignment will occur.
You also have to look at valve to pistonm clearance, depending on the heads.
In order to keep the same CR you have now, you need to mill down so 6CC's from the combustion chamber are gone, and you have to know if it's possible with the heads you have.
Personally, I'd store the heads for another project ( since it seems they are good for something on a 350/383400), or sell them, and buy some that would help the 305 out.
