Axle/Gears: 2.73
smog pump
so i removed the a/c and the smog pump and pluged everything i needed to plug and now the engine runs like crap wont idel the same sounds like it camed real bad and it is back fireing out of the throttle body... does the actuall smog pump need to come off the belt system

Sounds like either something was plugged that shouldn't have been, or something wasn't reconnected that should have been.

any other ideas cuz im pretty sure i did it all right so the last week ive been doing a lot of checking and it all seems right but i dont know...

The smog pump which we all know is for emmissions, and uses vaccume. When removing the smog you may not need all the same vaccume lines, sometimes to much vaccume is bad also. Eliminate the ones from the emmissions end and see how it does..just a thought.
