I am going to put a new engine in my 1984 Z-28. Any ideas as to a company or a particular engine? I would like to have a bit more power than the 305HO. Thanks.

 

Whats your budget? If you're like everyone else here and you want a complete motor for $500 then go to Recon or a local "bulk rebuilder" or get a crate engine. If you're not looking for the cheap way out and you want a real motor then have a local engine builder put a combo together for you. It'll cost you more but it will be done right, make more power and last longer.
