Wont Idle.......HELP

Hi Guys, stock 305 TPI.

Wont start, unless tou give it fuel, and it runs perfect if you keep the RPM above 1200, less than that and it dies right away without any sputtering. Unplugged idle air and exact same thing, and replugged it in and still no change.

used the code reader, code 12, all normal.

Any suggestions on what may be happening?

i don't know about the 305 but on my 2.8 theres a screw on the throttle body that you can just tighten and this just gives it more air/fuel so that it idles where you want it to idle...that fixed my problem and it was doin the same thing yours is...hope it helped but like i said it may be different on the 305
