Just went through all my receipts for the TA and...
Project started exactly two years ago last week so I decided to go through all of my receipts. $11,831. Not counting all the beer, misc hardware and one-time-used-special-tools. Unbelieveable. I've only driven it 6K. Still need shocks/struts, TC and paint. Can anyone please sympathize?

wow I'm glad i'm not the only one thinking about how much I really have spent...
Lets see.
1000 - rotating assembly
1200 - machine work on block/assembly
500 - misc bolts, oil pump, gaskets, etc
1600 - heads
500 - misc bolts, cam, rockers, etc
400 - intake (bigmouth TPIS)
300 - Runners
500 - misc sensors, injectors, afpr, etc
450 - struts/shocks
650 - tubular a-arms, bushings, more bolts, etc, wonderbar
650 - new headers
250 - steering parts
Puts me at 8,000+ so far... plus the original 2,000 I spent on the car, and all the tune up stuff, and the misc stuff here and there. I'm no where near done and the major kicker... It's not all together yet and I haven't driven it for over a year and a half.
and I still need more to finish:
350 - springs, exhaust parts, starter
250+ - LS1 front brake upgrade
...more misc parts
And more I want:
1500 - pro built transmission
500 - ACT or Vigilante Torque Converter
400 - Spohn Torque Arm
450 - Spohn Subframe Connectors, Lower Control Arms and Panhard bar
750+ - new wheels and tires
1500+ - new rear end (9" or 12 bolt)
Sure is addictive! I just hope I'm as fast as I want to be when I'm done. I could have bought a new car by now... but what fun would that be? I enjoy working on things.
