I'm about to tap some new cam bearings into my block... do I use any lubricant, or do I tap them in "dry"?

I put mine in dry, actually. No big deal. Just get them to go in STRAIGHT!

Well you have to be carful as the right one has to go in its proper place in the block and at the right positon aswell read the instructions and if you need help just call up the local machine shop and they might be cool and tell you how they install them, (wich is what i did lol).

there are differant bearings for each location so make sure you get that right. i install the oil feed hole around the 5 o'clock position
