What is this?
Could somebody tell me what the black box that says AC on it is? (Circled in red). It has a circuit board in it, it's not the main computer is it? Sorry if this is a dumb question.

I'm sure somebody know what this is - anybody? The reason I ask is because I unplugged it thinking it was something else and then plugged it back in, and now it seems like my fans are acting funny. Thanks
Looks like the airbag "brain". Its called a DERM, and it stands for Deployment, Energy, R....Module, or somthing to that effect. I really do not remember what DERM actually stands for, but it is for your IRS system.
There is a wire coming from it, that if you clip it, it will kill the IRS system warning light. I killed mine when I added my custom steering wheel.
Wait you dont have airbags, do you. IIRC, the DERM is maybe behind that?
