Will accessories bolt up--changing from standard heads to vortec
Hey guys,
I'm putting together everything I need to build a 383 next spring for my 84 T/A. I was wondering if all my accessories (AC, Power steering, alternator etc) will bolt strait up to the new Vortec heads? I was reading somewhere in one of these threads that I can't find now, that the Vortec heads don't have the same bolt holes the old heads do. ANy truth to this? ANd if so, how or where can I bolt the accessories?

accesories all bolt up fine. the intake bolts are different, therefore a vortec specific intake it needed. that's the only difference.

Thanks.
One less thing I have to worry about! I have already picked up the Vortec intake from GM performance parts. Other than how things were going to bolt up (which you just answered), the only issue I'll have now is how to make the EGR work. The intake has it, but the heads don't. hmm...
