Transmission: Rebuilt 700r4 all TransGo and Beast
Axle/Gears: 10 bolt with 3.73 gears
Can i swap these two distributors?

my friend has an 82 cc carb camaro and hes going to a vaccum advance distributor. i need a new one for my 86 tpi car. will these distributors interchange with no problems? thanks a lot guys.

I dont think that the cap will clear the plenum...

will my cap go onto it then? and also, i dont have the end piece for the plenum on. and by the way, 86 was still the big cap dist year, i dont have the external coil. i was just wondering if it would all go together ok and wire up etc.

I would think it would work, as long as the wiring harnesses are the same (and they should be), but I don't have any personal exposure.

well i got some pics and it looks the same. with 2 different connectors coming off it. it should be right. thanks guys.
