Fuel pump harness install and routing
Hi all,
I'm retro fitting a TPI system into my car and I'm at the point where I can install the fuel pump harness inside the car. Because my car was originally carbed I don't have a harness there already.
I have the harness out of a donor car and I need to cut a square hole for the fuel pump socket to go into just behind the back seats. The question is, where is a good location to make this square hole? Does someone have a picture or something of the stock location? I have the entire fuel pump assembly also from a donor car so the harness that comes from the pump assembly obviously has to reach to where this hole gets made in order to connect with the fuel pump harness socket.
Also, how close is the front of the fuel tank to the body of the car? I don't wanna start drilling holes if the fuel tank is very close behind it!
Thanks
