OMG help me
Ok I started a tear down on my LB9 a while back. Like March time. I don't have much of a memory and just totally forgot where I put things. I'm so lost now I hate my car so much, but I can't cause it's my fault, lol! Anyway, can someone please help me. There is this bolt coming out of the pass.head that I have no idea what it's for. I suspect it being a stud for the serpentine belt setup as I got these heads off a 90 iroc. How do I get that out? Are serpentine setups easier? Could I just get the bracket that holds the Alt and PS pump on the drivers side and call it a day? If so, where could I get one of those or how much are they from dealership or whatever? The PS pump is another issue. I have 1 bolt for the entire setup, LOL! I have no idea where the rest of them went. I'm just considering sending the car out and getting a shop to do all of this. I mean come on, it's accessory bull****, WTF IS WRONG WITH ME, lol! oh well...what can yah do. If I can do that serpentine setup, I might just do that. Whatever is easiest at this point. I just want to drive my car...PLEASE HELP! Btw, I don't have A/C and won't be running the smog pump, can I still use the serpentine setup?

I had some problems with accessories on my car.
V-belt, so not totally helpful,
link
but maybe it'll help ya. The power steering bracketry might be the same for you, if it looks like it is, I can help ya with that....
EDIT: Here's my thread that I took those pictures for:

my buddy who helped build my engine and did 99% of the work on it fabricated several brackets for me namely the rear power steering bracket since it was lost.We did away with the smog pump and the a/c is gone for now. However i do have the v-belt set up and it was a breeze to get the belts on.I have heard people have issues with the length of the belt with no smog pump.I have never used the serpentine system without all of its acc,but i do know the v- belt is very easy.

Hmm ok those pics there helped a little. I'll just cut that stud sticking out of the head so thats not a problem. Can you guys see how the Alt bracket is sitting? It's on an angle. Doesn't line up properly with the runner bolt and water pump locations. What the f*ck gives? Sonix, is that how you have you're power steering pump mounted? I don't see the long bracket there
Can I just do that and run it? Will it line up with the crank pulley?

This is how I ended up doing it. The pump, with it's attached bracket is connected to these brackets. The green stud is where it pivots. The red circle is where a stock stud should be, but I just used redi rod, and two 3/8" NC nuts. The yellow circle shows one of the slots for adjustment. A stud coming out the back of my pump goes into that slot, and a nut tightens to hold it in place. The teal arrow, there's a slot on the bracket that was mounted to my power steering pump, and I put a bolt through the bracket, into that hole, making the 2nd adjustment slot. Two adjustment slots, and one pivot bolt, was all I needed. The lower right bracket used the redi rod (or stock stud), to keep it in position, so it doesn't simply pivot around the lowest bolt pictured in that pic. The white circle was for a hole... No purpose there.
I didn't use a smog pump. The top most bracket I think could have been avoided, the green circle could have simply had a stud, and some washers, to space it out. The outermost hole in the top bracket wasn't used (I think it's for the smog pump)
Hope *that* helped.
