v6 vs v8 AC lines and comp?

Just wondering if anyone knows if the AC lines on a V8, from the accumulator to compressor, are the same as (or useable) on a V6 car? ALso, is the compressor the same. I just want to know if I am limited to looking for the v6 stuff or if the v8 stuff will work too?

thanks.

What year? Carbureted v6 and V8 82-84 used the same a/c compressor lines, definitely. The compressor is also the same. The brackets to mount the compressor are different though.

oops, soory, my bad.......85 v6 which is the MPFI. Compressor is on the top of the drivers side.

Was at the wreckers on the weekend but only saw v6 lines so I couldn't compare and all the lines were cut to get the engines out.
