hi im new here i hope this is the right place for this...
well anyway about 2 days ago i got a 91 firebird and it has noo torque at all!! it takes forever to get up to speed.
when its cold, after i first start it it has power untill it warms up. i put new plugs, wires, dist cap, air filter, changed the oil and filter, checked the atf and thats good...
i just dont have a clue what it could be...does anyone have any ideas on what it could be??
please help me..im getting passed by soccer moms on the highway!!!!

Knowing the engine/trans combo might help.
Since it has noticably more power when cold, we can probably rule out a restricted exhaust. We can probably also rule out fuel pressure/delivery problems (at least from the pump). Your ignition system is probably in reasonably good condiotion now, but you might want to test the coil and HEI module when they are hot.
Commonly, fuel mixture is leaner once the engine reaches operating temperature and the ECM achieves Closed Loop Mode. As coolant temperature increases further, mixture gets even leaner, then ignition timing begins to retard. What is the indicated coolant temperature after it has fully warmed?
