Battery Removal Procedure?
Battery Removal Procedure?
This is a very idiotic question first and foremost. I was removing my battery and i forgot to remove the negative terminal first, i started with the positive terminal and spark started flying, not big ones but relatively minor.
This isn't going to damage anything is it? lol.

Funny thing, I had to jump my moms subaru last night and I had the cables on my battery and accidentally touched the other two clamps together and got a few sparks. Didnt harm a thing. I wouldn't do it for fun, but just a little touch did nothing.

There will usually be a very small spark. Don't worry about it.
Disconnect the NEGATIVE terminal first, and reconnect it last. That way there's less chance of accidentally touching your tool to ground while working with the positive one.
