Help Quick

Alright guys,

Ive had the car running fine for awhile, and something
funny is going on, not too horrible ..but still nerve racking

Anyway, my oil press. gauge is pinged at 60lbs+, lol ..
I have no clue why, even with the engine on/off its the
same reading.. does this indicate a bad sender? faulty
wiring? I pretty sure its the green wire comming off the
wiring harness ..its looks intact, and so does the sender.

..but that doesnt mean there is nothing wrong with it

If I cant get the sucker to work, Im going to get a
mechanical gauge for accuracy and less headaches ..

Ill try to take pics with the cell phone

Any thoughts??

Bad sender. It does that when it isn't connected, too.

Well I was a bit confused at first ..

What is the sensor unit on the rear of the block behind the intake??? Kinda bulgy looking and shiny tin metal of some sort.. I had that confused with the other sender down below ..

The actual sender appears to be bad, leaking oil and shows wear and age, but .. what the heck is that otherthing on the rear of the block?

*Edit* I can take a cell phone pic of it, Its a
cylindrical sensor with a male electical fitting on
the end of it, not sure what it is ..

Thanks for the reply

No one knows what that 'Humdinger' is??

I obviously figured out what's wrong with the oil press. sender, but That still doesnt ease my mind untill I figure out what that sensor is behind my plenum ..

I figured pics would provoke a quick response ..
I guess not
