smoke near passenger side header

All of today i spent wire tieing different wires so i can prevent my slp 1 3/4 headers from burning up my negative battery wire and other wires. I started it and i still am getting something burnt near the passenger side header all the way on the back of the engine bay. Any ideas of what could be burning the smoke is a really weak looking white and smell like no kind of fluid. When it smokes it doesnt it every once in awile and is not steady a little puff there and a little puff there any ideas?

check the plug wires for sure. Maybe when your driving there getting bounced around and hitting the pipes. Could be a vacuum hose to.

smoke

all the ignition wires are good and dont burn. Its gotta be some wires that run from the back of the header anybody kno what wires are behind the headers on a 350 tpi? Its weird if you pop the hood and look around you cant see the smoke but then you'll smell something burning so i look around and i see alittle bit of smoke every once in a while near the passenger side headers towards the back of the engine bay. You cant see the smoke from the bottom of the car either. But it defiently has that smell of some kind of wire burning.

are u sure its not blown headgaskets?
that'll give u a white smoke..

maybe ur right bank's headgasket's leaking,
hopefully not.. as thats a PITA and expensive fix.

but if u suspect that it could be the headgasket..
u probably wanna fix it a.s.a.p before oil wont get into water jackets.
