help deleting emissions equipment

can anyone tell me how to remove all the emissions crap from my Iroc? I'm rebuilding the engine and buying some new goodies (headers, etc.) and I'm wanting to ditch all that stuff since its legal to do that here. Thanks.

If you want the car to run right, you gotta leave it in there.

Unless you're going non computer controlled, to an old school carb setup that is.

actually its illegal to remove any of the emissions components on any vehicle that will be used on public roads in the USA, its just that they aren't required to check for them where your at,... yet.

you need to give more info on what you what to do, I.E., i want to go with a non-computer carb, vacuum advance distributor & so on, or i want to keep my fuel injection but i want to do away with,...

a search for something like "emissions delete" may turn up what your looking for.
