loud hising noice when accelerating hard??

loud hising noice when accelerating hard??

when accelerating hard from 1-2-3(stick) after i hit 3rd it makes a loud hising noise. its not leaking anything and i dont think it affects the performance. i removed the air pump so it coondt be that. just wonderin if anybody else had heard of this

thanx man. i kinda thought it was that. but the car dosnt get any louder(liek the exhaust) just the hissing noise. well coem to think of it i dunno haha it prolyl is the exhaust

you took the air pump off, but did you put pipe plugs on where the A.I.R. tubes attach to the exauast manifold, the exauast will accualy pull a vacume where the A.I.R. tubes go into it and if they are not pluged it will make a hissing noise at high RPM's.

yea i pluges them as soon as i took the air tubes off. ill check them tho maybe one blew out or sumthing.
