question about getting my car cammed...need help!
ok so my car has a stock 305TPI, and i'm looking at this cam:
hydrolic roller cam by General Kinetics, blue printed for the 300/350 Corvette motor.
@ 0.050 Duration - 216/228
nominal duration is 272/282
lift is .454/476
112 degree Centerline
i dont have a clue what any of this means, but my friend's dad is giving it to me all BRAND NEW in box for $100 with the cam, lifters, springs, valve locks, seals, and lube...
i'd probably get a stall and port and polish the heads shortly after i get it cammed, but is this cam compatible with my car?

Yes that should work well. It's actually a relatively mild grind, but will probably give you good power. I'd recommend at least a 2800 stall and at least 3.42 rear gears to go with that.
