Idle RPM for Manual Tranny
I just got done with a headers swap, and ran the car a little bit today to break in the gaskets and such. I noticed that the car seemed to idle right about normal, 500 or 600RPM. When I'd get on the gas quick, it seemed to bog down a bit, then rev up like normal. But when I idled around 7 or 800RPM then punched it, it took right off. Is the idle too low at 5 or 600RPM for a T-5? If so, about where should I be idling?
Engine is a 350, with a stock cam and a holley 650DP (1140) carb. Hedman Headers and going to have a 3" magnaflow exhaust.
