the bore. everything is interchangeable except the pistons. however you cannot bore a 305 to a 350.

45 cubic inches.

They both have a 3.48" stroke, however....

A 350 has a 4" bore.

A 305 has a 3.735: bore.

The crank is not interchangeable. 305 cranks are balanced at a much lighter weight than 350 cranks.

Unless you're going to use ultra light pistons on the 350.

Heads are different, too, although they will bolt on to the other.
