What's this?
What's this?
OK, I changed the rear end to a posi with 3.42 gears in my 91 camaro rs 305. The speedo is off now and I wan't to recalibrate it. I was just under the car changing the fuel pump and didn't see any cables going into the rear diff area. I'm assuming it's electronic with vss and drac. Where is the drac unit? Under the dash beside the ECM is a black box with a circuit board style card that slides out. I checked it and it looks nothing like the DRAC units i've seen on this site??

Can't you just change the speedo gear in the trans?
I guess you have an electronic speedometer, rather than a cable drive, but there's still a physical gear in the trans which is then transmitted via electrical signal, rather then moving cable, to the speedometer in your dash. None the less, still a gear in the trans right?
