It doesn't do it all the time, just sometimes, making it really unpredictable. Anyways, sometimes i'll be sitting there at a red light and when i go to accelerate it goes about as fast as idle speed....even if i floor the throttle it still won't go anywhere. It lopes like it's not getting enough fuel, like it's wanting to choke out and stop running altogether. It has a new fuel pump and fuel filter on it, and a new distributor and a new alternator. I really dont know what could be wrong with it. I took it to a shop the other day but (go figure) it wouldn't act up for the guy and he said everything looked fine

 

Don't really understand the question... do you mean, you hit the throttle, and the revs will not go up? Or you hit the throttle, the revs do go up, but the car won't accelerate?
