Idle problem
Sometimes when the car is at idle the RPM will go from around 1500 to 800 on its own.Its not just the tach changing RPM but the motor revs as well.The motor is a 383 TPI ,LPE heads,LPE cam,accel super ram,accel 58mm,SLP tri-y headers.Thanks John

Yes it has a custom prom ,but I will most likely get a new one because the the cold start valve is disconnected .There was no way to mount on super ram runners.The idle problem happens when the engine is warmed after driving.

Make sure you check the parameters for IAC adders, idle vs. CTS, and other IAC count adders and modifiers. Its easy to enter contradictory parameters and have the idle behave erratically (don't ask how I know), but those are big RPM jumps.
