I have a aluminum intake thats painted with a thick coat of black paint.
Any ideas on how to remove the paint and restore the natural finish?
Thanks in advance

Maybe aircraft stripper to take most of the paint off, and aluminum paint over top of what's left.

Aircraft stripper or gasket remover will take paint off quick.

I think that you should just leave it on, i mean the black paint will look cleaner with oil on it than the aluminum with oil. JMO
