valvetrain questions

Hi guys Im new to the performance world. I have a 355 that has stud girdles...that are adjustable..is there a certain height that they go on the polylocks? Oh and what torque on the polylocks? Also have a 7 quart pan....is there a special dipstick for this application?

Stud girdles go on wherever they fit. Polylocks take whatever torque they need to keep them tight. The dipstick shouldn't matter, it's the distance from the bottom of the engine to the top of the oil that matters, not from the bottom of the pan to the top of the oil.

Ill give you 2 outta 3. The girdles fit anywhere on the polylock...well that would work if it didnt hit the roller rockers..Im guessing somewhere between not hitting the valve cover and not hitting the rockers...so anywhere they fit huh?

If they're hitting something, then they're not fitting.
