Coolant flow

My 92 RS's original 305 i understand had a reverse rotation pump, somewhere along the lines we had big problems because we routed the belt diffrently and caused it to run standard directions causing heating problems. I am in the process of droping a new GM 350 in. I am putting an electrical water pump to increase power, would standard rotation cause THIS motor to run hot or do i have to have reverse still.

It's not going to matter with an electric pump.
