Really quick question on 1991 L98
on the 350 block, who made the pistons? I'm looking at my roller block (1991)and took #1 rod and piston out, but there's no casting number anywhere.
I can't even find a GM stamp...
I'm just curious, so any replies, I'd appreciate. Thanks!

This is what confuses me. I had thought they would be silvolite or speed pro deals, but the word "MAHLE" appears on the inside of the skirt. The only numbers I found wouldn't give me anything tangible, after searching with them. I didn't think that GM used Mahle pistons on their factory engines.
