Car: 1989 GTA
Engine: 350TPI w/ Speed Density
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: Borg warner 3.27
It would be advisable to keep both of those systems in. Basically the EVAP canister saves you gas without hurting performance, and the EGR saves your engine without hurting performance. The EGR only works during basic crusing, not 1/4 mile runs or WOT. For more information, do a search on either of those topics. If you must remove them, its a pretty straightforward procedure. Just make sure both are disabled in your ECM.
