HEI

Whats the best way to unplug the coil on a distributor with the coil in the cap. It's loose and I can wiggle it back and forth, but it wont unplug and I really dont want to break the connector This is on an 84 305

there is two tangs on either side of the plug that you need to spread out with a screwdriver before the plug will pull down.

Yeah, and one similar lock connector on each of the other two terminals (+12V and TACH). The 3-wire jobbie towards the inside you have to pop off both the locks at the same time or it won't pull off.
