fuel tank cleaning?
I want to start off by saying that I know removing the tank is best....I was wondering if there was a way to clean a fuel tank on a 84 Trans Am...305.. without removing the tank...I dont have a shop or all the nec. tools to remove the tank....
The car has sat for a long time I dont think theres a rust issue but more so an old gas issue(tarnish)...I am having the carb rebuilt now and dont want to put it back on with a dirty tank.....
Is there something I can let sit in the tank to break all that up then maby put an elec fuel pump on it temporarily to flush it out....if not I will just have to put a glass filter on it and clean it all the time...lol..Thanks Dave
