02 trans am or 91 rs

I don't know if this is the right board to post this on but anyways. I'm 16 without a liscense and I'm going to have to buy a car soon. I can't decide between a 91 rs and a 00 trans am. I love the way they both look but I really am hooked on the rs. I'd rather have the rs since its waaaay cheaper, easy to work on, and is lighter than the trans ams. I'd also like the juicy ls1 power from the trans am. Trans ams usually run around 12,000$ higher. I can get a really nice fresh painted rs for 3200.

I just need some

Price the insurance for both. You'll decide on an 86 caprice beater...

Since I total'd my first car (20 years ago), I would say go with the cheapest one. You'd be better of with an old 4-banger for a couple years. Save your money for gas.
