Serious burning smell after tune up.

I went to give my 91 camaro rs a tune up. I have Hedmen headers and could not change the spark plugs, but while trying, on the left side, between the two back plugs, there is a wire going into the block i guess, i accidently disconnected it, now my car smells of burning, is that from that wire? What is that in which it connects? Please help, this is my daily driver.

The only sensors that go into the heads is one on the drivers side between the #1 and #3 pulgs, there is a sensor for the temp gauge....the other is on the passenger side head between the #6 and #8 plugs, and that one is for your electric cooling fan, if so equipped. In which...being a 91, it will be

Ok, I just got in, I had the time of getting my hands down in there, I spliced a wire for hookup, got it all hooked up and I think the smell is gone, I hope, I pulled outa the driveway burning wheels and it seems fine. Anywho, It was on the passenger side, and it looked to be a ground to me. You say it is for the electric fan? I do indeed have one.

Also, them gauge. Mine doesnt work, could that be the sensor, and where is it located?

Thanks man.
