sorry yall, but i need to find a engineh arnessfor my 87 firebird, ha
Ok i came accross a engine harnessfrom an 82 T/A with a 305 in it. will that harness work on my 87 with a 305 in it? (both carbed and automatic) Thanks - Roger

It MAY work, but some of the device connectors changed configuration in about 1984-85. For example, the old CTS and IAT sensor connectors were the round "squueze tab" type, while the later versions are WeatherPacks. I believe they changed again around 1989 or so. If you wanted to splice in later connectors, most of the appropriate wires would probably be in hte old harness. You migh be missing fan wiring and a few others, however.

damn it, lol i have thestock harness, butthe guy i bought the car from cut off thesmog ends, and the carb ends. he still has em', but i dontwanna ghettofy the harness. splicing isnt proper to me. I need to find a exact fit harness. - Roger
